Do you need to overcome challenges to  become successful?


Like they say, life is not a bed of roses. They also say that life is a game of give and take. In other words, to become successful,  life will normally throw a lot of challenges, tests and difficulties. 


These could include pain, poverty, learning, treachery, hunger, disappointment, sleepless nights, sickness, etc. But if you wish to succeed, you need to overcome these challenges and not give in.

All these challenges are necessary bus stops on the journey to success. You need to go through them to accomplish your dreams. 


Seek help or support when required. Help may come in the form of good company, research and development, mentors, spirituality, etc.


If you are hoping to be successful either academically, financially, professionally, spiritually, impactfully, etc; most of these journeys entail a lot of discipline, pain, frustration and effort. That's probably the way life is designed; as there's no gain without pain.


Once you have this mindset in your subconscious, you may go on to achieve your goals and aspirations. 


If failure comes knocking, probably as you are close to achieving your goal, you may consider taking a break, reflecting, strategizing, consulting, praying, etc. You can then return with a bang and overcome failure and life's challenges. 


According to Jimmy Cliff, ‘You can get it if you really want, but you must try severally until you finally succeed’.
