1. Do We Show Gratitude? Jack’s Life Lessons For Teenagers - For A Better Tomorrow - Jack Lookman - teenage empowerment - teenage inspiration

 1  Do we show gratitude?

Greetings to one and all. This is Jack Lookman welcoming you to life lessons for teenagers. Today's topic is :

Do we show gratitude?

Sometimes in life, we take these little things for granted: good health, a roof over our heads, dutiful parents, food to eat, clothes to wear, access to education, internet access, a good family, good and faithful friends, peace of mind, e.t.c.

If you are privileged to have some or all of the above and even more; do you show gratitude? Are you grateful to the Creator and Sustainer of life? Are you grateful for your parents? Are you grateful for family and friends? Are you grateful for what you have? Do you show compassion for the less privileged; those who struggle with life's basic necessities?

Do you show concern for those who face life's misfortunes? Do you take a moment to reflect on those who lost all they ever had? Do you consider those who were born with health challenges? Do you take a pause to reflect on those who face daily battles and uncertainties?

Are we better than them? Can affliction never befall us? Are we immune from life's challenges? Are we just lucky? Should we show more gratitude? Should we continually reflect on life and death? If we should, how do we show it?

This can be done by giving regular thanks and praise to the Source of all goodness, by rejoicing always for the things and people the Creator has blessed us with; Rather than consistent complaints for things we do not have; by helping the less fortunate in cash and in kind, by showing gratitude to our parents, who are the vehicles of success and goodness.

Can we do much more than just enjoy these privileges alone?

What do you think?

Thank you very much for your time.
